The controller is a network device in its basic design. If the system is operated in standalone mode, accessibility via network is only necessary for administrative activities.
An IP address as well as the general operation of the system in your network may require the approval of the responsible administrator.

When changing the settings, you have three options for data transfer:
- "Save only" - only save without a productive change of the actual accessibility of the controller.
- "Update Network Service" - temporary transfer without fixing the values in the system. After a reboot, the values are the same as before.
- "Update Permanently" - take over data and save them in the system reboot.
