metaSEC Knowledge Base - System settings

The system settings contain the central information that determines the operating mode of the controller.

Operating Mode	standalone \| james \| c4	Differentiation whether the controller runs as a stand-alone system, as a subsystem of JAMES or connected to the C4 Console.
Validation Model	1G PCR only, 1G PCR+Antigen, 2G, 2.5 G, 3G, Custom	Which rules are applied? Please refer to the chapter Verification Models for more details.
Offset Validy Vac	Days	From when is a vaccination certificate considered valid? (specified in days)
Offset Validy Recovered	Days	From when is proof of recovery considered valid? (specified in days)
Listhandling	On \| off	If white or black lists have been loaded onto the system, they are evaluated during verification.
Logging Mode	None \| anonym \| detail	The type of logging. With the setting "none", the data is discarded directly. This setting also deactivates the possibility of generating statistics! "anonymous" only generates a positive, negative, etc. entry in the logbook. entry in the logbook without personal data "detail" logs name, first name, date of birth, vaccine and validity.
Verification	QR Code Only \| 2FA QR Code + MRZ Scanner	Determines how the QR code is verified. QR Code Only decodes only the QR Code and checks for syntax and date. 2FA QR Code+MRZ requires the presentation of an ID (passport or ID card) at the document scanner and checks surname, first name and date of birth. The MRZ scanner is an additional option for which a fee is charged.
System Time	Time	If no NTP server is used, the correct system time can be set here. The correct system time is essential for the correct operation of the controller.
Display	On \| off	Is a display connected to the controller and should it be controlled?
Display Detail Level	Minimal \| extended	If a display is connected, which display should be shown during scanning? "Minimal" shows only a green or red icon. "Extended" shows name, first name, validity, vaccine.

To apply the settings in the system, click on "Save". Some settings require a reboot of the controller. This circumstance is displayed as an infomodal. In this case, you must restart the system with "Reboot". A reboot takes about 20 seconds.
