Contacts

Visitors can only be invited if they already exist as a "contact". This has several reasons:

On the one hand, it saves multiple entries and makes it easy to select them with a click during appointment creation. On the other hand, the visit history is kept in the contact, as well as any training and instructions.

Normally, contacts are predefined globally. These can originate directly from JAMES or from external data sources such as: Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Notes.
However, if individual contacts are missing from the database, they can be entered for the user's own needs. These are only seen by the creator in the JAMES host portal and are therefore only displayed by him when creating an appointment.
